ONCE AGAIN - for the 4th year - in 2025 NGCT's 'Romance on the Road' will be providing entertainment and fundraising opportunities, this year for 6 different churches and service clubs.
This outreach project of NGCC has raised thousands of dollars for area non-profits.
Each venue is handling its own tickets, publicity and marketing.
This year Romance on the Road includes SIX very short plays and a selection of funny, acted out story poems.
What will you see?
- A woman and her cat in "Chelsea and Me"
- An old deaf couple endlessly misunderstanding each other in "Hearing Aid"
- God visiting a young man as he is reading in "God's Visit"
- A man seriously flustering a young cashier when he tries to pay in cash in "Cashless"
- A very politically correct cashier tangles with a patron in "Woke Coffee"
- and
- A final (short) emotional period drama. Wait and see!
In between are little vignettes.
The whole show, including a short intermission will run roughly 90 minutes.
All proceeds go to the local venue. Help support the location of your choice.
